Sleep experts have released new recommendations for how much sleep you should be getting at every stage of life. So are you getting enough?

I can definitely agree with all the pregnancy books that getting a good night's sleep as your belly grows gets harder and harder. And I know sleeping through the night once the baby is here isn't going to happen either, so I suppose sleep deprivation is something I'll have to live with for a while. But you and your kids don't have to.

A new study from The National Sleep Foundation has actually increased the number of hours most kids need to get, but as adults our sleep range seems to stay the same.

Here's the new numbers they suggest getting...

Newborns (0-3 months) : 14-17 hours each day

Infants (4-11 months) : 12-15 hours each day

Toddlers (1-2 years) : 11-14 hours each day

Preschoolers (3-5 years) : 10-13 hours each day

School age children (6-13 years) : 9-11 hours each day

Teenagers (14-17 years) : 8-10 hours each day

Adults (18-64) : 7-9 hours each day

Older adults (65+) : 7-8 hours each day

So are you getting enough sleep?
