A judge in Spain has ruled that an estranged couple split their house down the middle instead of getting a divorce.

According to the newspaper El Pais, the decision was based on economic factors and custody issues between the couple.

The house is actually two conjoined dwellings, it can be turned into two separate ones with slight modifications. At least the kids won't have to travel far on the weekends to visit the other parent.
