Home Depot Will Pay For Recycled Christmas Lights
If you love Christmas lights, but hate the spike in your NSTAR energy bill, there may be a solution. You have until the end of this weekend to bring your old Christmas lights to Home Depot…and they’ll give you a discount on some new energy efficient LED lights. According to WPRI, the manager at Home Depot in Seekonk says that it’s not a new program…it’s something that’s been around for years. Depending upon the the new lights you pick, you could save between $3 and $5 a box!
Luckily, Home Depot isn’t picky about the condition of your lights. “We take working lights, we take non-working lights, lights that maybe have the end cut off on it,” he said.
