I don't cook, but my wife, my mother in-law and sister in-law can certainly tear it up in my kitchen. I look forward to every holiday, not only because it's quality time with the family, but it's quality time with the food!

For Christmas and Easter, my wife will add lamb chops to the dinner table. Turkey is usually the centerpiece and main course at Christmas dinner, but lamb chops are a great alternative for the guests who aren't so crazy about the bird.

So thanks to my wife, here's her simple recipe that is sure to please.

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 Lamb Chops (3/4 inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup white wine (or beer)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix wine, mustard and minced garlic.
  2. Pour and rub Worcestershire sauce onto lamb chops directly, then pour the above mixture onto each lamb chop to season. Let marinate for about 1 hour, chilled in the refrigerator.
  3. If you have a Foreman Grill, you can grill these for about 5 minutes. Depending on the thickness of the chop, you may want to pierce if thicker to thoroughly cook through. If you don't have a grill press, pan searing each chop for about 2-3 minutes on each side should do.  You'll just need some olive oil to sear.
