It's World Nutella Day! Celebrate while staying warm by trying this AWESOME recipe!

Let's face it, Nutella is probably the greatest thing since sliced bread. And the combination of those two things is mind blowing. However, there's a new way to get your hazelnut / cocoa spread intake! Nutella Hot Chocolate is the new yummy way to enjoy the treat this season, and Desserts With Benefits supplied the recipe on Pinterest. With just four ingredients, this recipe is not only easy, but it's actually nutritious! It's sugar free, low carb, high fiber, gluten free, dairy free and vegan! Can you think of a better after school snack in 10 minutes for your kids (or yourself)?

Ingredients (for 2 servings):

Directions:

  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together the DIY Nutella and a splash of almond milk. While whisking, slowly add in the rest of the almond milk.
  2. In a tiny bowl, whisk together the Truvia and xanthan gum. While whisking, slowly add this into the "Nutella milk" and place the pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Whisk occasionally until it's hot and starts to steam. Remove from the heat and pour into serving glasses.
  4. Serve immediately with whipped cream. Enjoy!
