Her story moved the Southcoast 3 months ago. Now, there's been a major fundraiser set up for Amy Viegas, the Dartmouth mom who suffered a brain hemorrhage 10 days after giving birth to her new baby (pictured right). Since that horrible day, Amy's husband Brian has been unable to work as he juggles a newborn baby, a toddler, and visiting his wife who remains hospitalized in Boston. This local, Dartmouth family really needs the help of their community right now.

I am honored to be donating my DJ services to what is going to be a very special night. It's happening on Saturday night, November 2nd, at the Sociedade Cultural Acoriana, 217 South Main Street in Fall River. A delicious dinner will be served. There will be dancing, and a Chinese auction. We are welcoming any items for the auction.  Businesses can call 508-971-9722 to donate items.  You can also a call that number to order tickets (they are $30 each)...or click on the True Fighter - Amy's Cause Facebook page to find out more.

Brian Viegas tells us that Amy still can't walk or talk again, yet...but she continues to improve slowly but surely.
