Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular
Want to go see some amazing fireworks on the Independence Day? Destination New Bedford is hosting their annual fireworks display over the harbor downtown.
The event happens on the waterfront downtown at 9pm on Tuesday, July 4th, and goes until about 9:30pm. The Fireworks Spectacular is presented by Mayor Jon Mitchell and the City of New Bedford, and is awesome every year!
The fireworks are seen from lower Union Street and Front Street. The lower portion of Union Street will be closed to vehicles to enable viewing for event-goers. Also, the State Pier will NOT be open to the public, and parking is unavailable there on July 4th.
Parking for the event is free and encouraged in the Elm Street Parking Garage, and the Zeiterion Parking Garage in downtown New Bedford.
Get the kids and your family and friends together for a perfect summer night for the 4th of July Fireworks downtown, so much fun.
