Fire In The South End

We are getting word of a structure fire in the South End.

A New Bedford Fire Department dispatcher tells WBSM News that at around 9:25 a.m. Wednesday the fire was reported at 44 Valentine St.

The dispatcher says nearly all units are on scene at this time and they are asking people avoid the area.

There is no word on injuries or the extent of the damage at this time.
