FALL RIVER (WBSM) — Fall River firefighters responded to a rollover crash early on Monday, December 4.

Authorities responded to the motor vehicle accident at 8 a.m. with entrapment at the intersection of President Avenue and Davol Street.

Reports say that hydraulic cutters and hydraulic spreaders, also known as the “Jaws of Life,” were used to extricate the victim from the vehicle.

The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for further treatment; the severity of the injuries is unknown at this time.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
