Fall River Celebrates 2013 With “First Day”

The City of Fall River will ring in the New Year with many activities for everyone to enjoy on the first day of 2013.  

"First Day" begins at 10 a.m. with the 3rd annual "Polar Plunge' at Sandy Beach to benefit Forever Paws Animal Shelter.   There will be a celebration at Kennedy Park from noon til 2.  This is a family friendly event that includes winter fun and free food courtesy of several Fall River businesses.
