Christine’s Monday Entertainment Update
There's nothing better than an award show that happens strictly because of us, the fans.
The People's Choice Awards were last night and it was one of their best awards shows yet. Everyone was there from music, TV and film to celebrity bloggers, reality stars and more.
One of the big moments of the night was Kevin Hart's first major public appearance since being seriously injured in a car crash in September. He accepted the award for Comedy Act of 2019.
Avengers: Endgame was one of the big winners from last night. The film took home the trophy for best movie and best action movie. Robert Downey Jr. opened the show and also won the Male Movie Star of the Year award for his role in the film.
Jennifer Aniston was honored with the People's Icon Award.
I have watched all four episodes of her new TV show The Morning Show twice so far and I love it! She was also nominated for Female Movie Star of the Year, but lost that award to Spider-Man: Far From Home star Zendaya.
Gwen Stefani was presented with the Fashion Icon Award and you wouldn't have been able to pry that thing out of her hand if you had all the strength in the world, she was so happy.
Pink and her adorable family made quite an entrance on the red carpet and she was honored with the People's Champion Award. That particular trophy celebrates her contributions to charitable causes like Autism Speaks, the Human Rights Campaign and Planned Parenthood. This is just another reason why I love me a little Pink.💞
