Lady Gaga has taken on a brand new project, working with living legend Tony Bennett, on a concert premier for PBS's Great Performances, and you can watch it Friday night from the comfort of your living room!

On the heels of her new duet album from which the concert is based, Cheek to Cheek, the duo sings some of the best jazz standards from the American songbook. But according to the Dallas Morning News, there are five reasons you shouldn't miss this performance.

First of all, Lady Gaga and Bennett have some serious chemistry! These two might be separated by a 60 year age difference, but they still have tons in common, including being native New Yorkers with an Italian heritage. More importantly, however, they really seem to enjoy one another's company.

Both also have a serious sense of fashion. While Bennett looks great in a tux, Gaga tones down her typically outrageous looks for tamer, classier, more appropriate evening gowns which fit her new role of jazz chanteuse.

Tony still has the moves to keep up with Gaga too. Rather than just standing and belting out standards, even at 88, he still manages to dance and swagger at Gaga's side.

Gaga delivers a tour de force performance of "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" during this show, and does such a phenomenal job even Cher had to give her kudos. The song can be downloaded in the iTunes version of the album.

Finally, Bennett and Gaga hold nothing back and perform each song with panache during the hour-long concert. This is a performance that will charm you, and is sure to win both singers new admirers. So even if you never watch PBS, give this show a shot, because it will dazzle and bewitch you with the charm and grace both legends have worked hard to perfect.
