Dahkari and Kaleena's number one wish is to be adopted together.  Above all else, this brother and sister want to remain in the same family.  Dahkari is an extremely sweet, polite, and well-mannered boy with a quirky sense of humor and a desire to please others.  He has a love of reading, especially the Percy Jackson series, and enjoys watching movies and playing video games.  Dahkari makes friends easily and his teachers at school say that he is a wonderful child to have in class, someone who is always cheerful and looking on the bright side.  He loves math, and does well in all of his subjects.
Kaleena is an exceedingly kind and silly girl who can be a little shy when she first meets new people.  She loves to smile and is always polite.  Her closest people describe her as fun, sweet, and spunky.  Kaleena really to dance.  Her nickname is Shakira in her current foster-home, where she has also learned Spanish.  Kaleena also likes imaginative play with dolls and playing with others.  Kaleena transferred to a new elementary school and has found it to be a perfect fit, she is thriving there, both socially and academically.
Dahkari and Kaleena will do well in a family of any constellation, with or without other children in the home.  Interested families should be open to maintaining monthly visits with their sibling placed in the care of kin.
