Bishop Stang’s Michaela Bruno Wins 2017 Jack Peterson Scholarship
Bishop Stang's Michaela Bruno was awarded this year's Jack Peterson Scholarship.
Michaela Bruno is from East Freetown and a senior at Bishop Stang High School in Dartmouth. She was chosen for the 2017 Jack Peterson Scholarship and was awarded a check for $5,000. Michaela saw Fun 107 at an away game for Bishop Stang football and decided, on a whim, to sign up. She wishes to attend Northeastern University or UMass Amherst to major in neuroscience.
We'd like to thank our sponsors for making another $5,000 scholarship happen in Jack's memory: Primacare Orthopedics, Aaron Pools and Spas, Rob Roy Academy, Air National Guard, Quahog Republic, US Marines, Blount Clam Shack and Soup Store, and First Citizens Federal Credit Union.
Congratulations, Michaela! This morning we talked to her about her scholarship win on the air. You can listen below.
