Aurora Borealis May Be Seen From The Southcoast Sunday Night

They’re called the Northern Lights, but if the weather is right Sunday night they could be seen in Massachusetts.

As long as the clouds are on our side, you might be able to catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis appearing July 16-17.

The National Weather Service tweeted out a photo of the best places to see the Northern Lights on Sunday…and parts of New England could see the seasonal light show in the sky.

The best chance of seeing the Aurora will be away from city lights, so find a rural spot and give it a shot!
