There are a lot of things that I would rather do, than go see the dentist. Sitting in that chair, you start to feel the anxiety take over, and the inevitable sinking feeling that there will be drilling in your near future.

Being your typical guy, I have had quite a gap of dentist visits in the past. But, now that I'm being "responsible," I'm going through the steps and trying to get on the right path towards healthy gums and teeth.

"It's a three step process," I was told. Fillings, followed by a root canal or two, and wrapping up with crowns and everything else they can shove it my mouth. Can you hear me hyperventilating right now?

Thankfully, I don't have to do all of it at once. Just one painful step at a time. It's amazing that something as simple as brushing and flossing every day can eliminate issues like this, and I assure you, I don't want to go down this road again.

How about you? When's the last time you made an appointment? Thought so.
