The 4th of July is just a few days away and if you're still wondering where to go to see fireworks here on the Southcoast, here's a list to help you out!

Whether you want to stay close to home this 4th or take a small day trip for some fireworks, there are lots of celebrations in the area to keep you feeling festive!

    Fall River's Fourth of July Fireworks

    If you want a little history and atmosphere with your fireworks, this could be the display for you! For just $5 you can enjoy a fireworks show this SATURDAY NIGHT while sitting on the deck of the Battleship Massachusetts. So cool! Due to the impending weather the show has been moved to Saturday night, but gates still open at 7:30 and fireworks start at 9pm.

    Charles Morgan Homecoming Celebration New Bedford

    As you may have heard by now, the Morgan has made its way home and will be on the waterfront in New Bedford through July 6th. This of course means a very festive 4th with all day events on State Pier followed by fireworks at 9pm. The Destination New Bedford website says Saturday July 5th at 9pm will be the rain date for those 4th firewoeks. If you're looking celebrate the Morgan more than one day Destination New Bedford has the weeks events for you.

    Fireworks Over the Assonet River

    If you like some history with your fireworks, then head to Freetown this Sunday night. They usual celebration is being postponed until Sunday July 6th according to Freetown's website. Join them for the parade starting at 1pm and fireworks after dark!

    Bristol, RI Fourth of July Celebration

    It's one of the biggest and oldest 4th of July celebrations in the country and it's right in our own backyards. If you're interested in venturing a little outside of Mass for the 4th, (and apparently watching in the rain since their site says the event is still going off) this is certainly a good way to go. Featuring a waterfront fireworks display on Thursday the 3rd and the classic parade through the center of town on the 4th, Bristol has a rich history of doing the Fourth of July up big!

    Fireworks at Pawtucket Red Sox Games

    In a more modern American celebration of the 4th, you could see fireworks after a ball game. Every year the Pawtucket Red Sox play a home series throughout the fourth of July weekend complete with fireworks every night. This year is no different and from July 1st through 3rd you can enjoy the baseball game and fireworks! All fireworks shows start at 9:30p
