I love seeing stories about this. Grayson Clamp, who's three years old now, was completely deaf when he was born. Now, he can hear thanks to an auditory brain stem implant.

According to the Huffington Post, his parents were willing to try anything to help their son hear. A couple of months ago, I wrote about a girl who had cochlear implants, but unfortunately that procedure didn't work for Grayson.

They found another way in the form of an auditory brain stem implant. It helps people who are deaf due to auditory nerve damage, and after the operation, a miracle happened.

As a Dad, I can imagine how important it must feel to know your son can hear your words, and begin to experience all the sounds that a child hears for the first time. Watch the video below of this amazing technology at work.
