The Southcoast’s Weirdest Traffic Locations
Have you ever been driving down a road and suddenly you are going against traffic because of the yellow lines? Or have you ever been driving and something about the road doesn't make sense.
Here are a few of the locations around the Southcoast that made us scratch our heads.
Check Main Street in North Fairhaven (near the old Oxford School).
Is it me? Or is this the strangest traffic pattern ever? You are driving on the right side of the road, but if you continue straight you are suddenly on the wrong side of the road.
This next one is in Wareham right on Main Street.
At this turn towards Wareham High School the person turning left has the right of way. For locals, this is something to expect but for tourists it isn't easy to grasp that the left turn has the right of way while the people continuing straight have a stop sign.
This last one is Loren's pick in North Attleboro.
At this four way intersection at Chestnut and there is only TWO stop signs which makes traffic confusing and full of honking horns.
