April is Autism Awareness Month. Many local businesses are participating in events to include families with children on the spectrum. The Ice Cream Barn is taking part in such an event tomorrow night.

Tuesday, April 23 is "Special Friends Day" at The Ice Cream Barn in Swansea. The Barn is hosting this sensory-friendly event for families with children on the spectrum from 6 to 8 pm.

Headphones will be available along with a designated line to keep waiting at a minimum. Gluten and dairy free options are also available. - The Ice Cream Barn

*They currently only accept cash and no credit cards, but now have an ATM available on site. The Ice Cream Barn is located on a real working dairy farm at 289 Locust St in Swansea.
