The Bristol County District Attorney's Office has cleared the Fall River police officer involved in the fatal shooting of a New Bedford man last November.
A 27-year-old Fall River man, who shot another city man after a failed attempt to break into the victim’s vehicle, was convicted at trial last week and sentenced to serve 10 to 15 years in state prison.
