While the presidential debates are a laughing matter to some, the importance of voting in the upcoming November election is plenty serious. In a new video, released on Monday (Oct. 15), rap mogul Jay-Z is encouraging people to exercise their right to vote.

Jay-Z did something this past Saturday (Oct. 6) that millions of New Yorkers do everyday -- he rode the subway. Instead of parking the beamer in the arena, the rap mogul took the R train to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

If you're unable to witness the biggest spectacle in Brooklyn, N.Y., which is Jay-Z's residency at the newly opened Barclays Center, don't fret. The rap mogul will stream his last show at the basketball venue live on Saturday (Oct. 6) via the Internet.
