The first day of school is hard for most parents, especially when it's your child's very first first day of school. But if you get this reaction when you pick them up, it's worth it!

Parents all over the Southcoast are hearing the same thing as their kids get off the bus this week. "How was your first day of school?" we ask bubbling with excitement. The kids give us one word answers. "Did you learn anything?" we prod. They shrug, "no".
