It was all about the 80's movies last week, but this week Hollywood is announcing a sequel to a 90's family favorite.

If you liked seeing Robin Williams in drag you are in luck! Fox 2000 says both Williams and director Chris Columbus are attached to a sequel for the 1993 comedy Mrs. Doubtfire.  Elf screenwriter David Berenbaum is also on board, so it actually does have hope of being funny.

The sequel is still in the very early stages and no plot points have been revealed, but it seems none of the original kids from the 1993 movie have been contacted yet since both Mara Wilson and Lisa Jakub have openly tweeted that they know nothing about it (Mara doesn't want to know anything about it either). Matt Lawrence sadly has no twitter.

*UPDATE*

Seems Matthew Lawrence is on board! TMZ caught up with him today and he says he'd love to be part of the project. Read more here.
