South coastal Massachusetts will receive a glancing blow from a storm Sunday night into Monday morning. A cold front will move through with scattered snow showers on Sunday. A storm will move along the front once it gets offshore Sunday night into Monday. At one point, this storm looked promising for more than 6" of snow near Buzzards Bay, but a track farther south than originally projected will take the steadiest snow south of Southern New England.

Steady light snow is likely Sunday night into Monday. The temperature will be falling through the 20s, so snow will stick to untreated pavement easily Sunday night. The Monday morning commute may be slowed by the snow. Snow should wind down by mid to late morning on Monday, and sunshine is ahead for Monday afternoon. Right now, it looks like the south coast of Massachusetts may see 2-3" of snow from the storm.
