Fairhaven - MA

Providence, Rhode Island is now famous for 6 speeding cameras located in school zones all across the city, and tickets cars going 11MPH or faster over the speed limit a $95 ticket.

Could you imagine something like this in our cities? How would you feel about it?

I am personally all for it! Anyone going over 11MPH would absolutely get a ticket if an officer were present (especially in a school zone), so just because officers can't be everywhere doesn't mean speeding should be tolerated. Although, the service fo these camera is NOT cheap! Meaning once people stop speeding knowing they can't get away with it, do they machines start to cost more than the cites are making on tickets?
