Put Your Head On My Shoulder? Not So Fast [VIDEO]
Some of the strangest things seem to happen to me when I travel. But as you'll see in this video, I am not the only one this has happened to.
On a recent flight home from Phoenix, Arizona (over 6 hours), there were no empty seats on the 737. I boarded early and was in a window seat. An older woman was sitting in the isle seat leaving the middle seat empty. Then, a young lady sat between us. It was 5:30 a.m. Phoenix time, and before we even taxied from the terminal, she was dozing off.
She slept through the take-off, and about a minute into the flight, her head was on my shoulder. She certainly didn't realize it, and she probably could have slept through anything. I did clear my throat, and moved a bit. She lifted her head for a second and I'm sure didn't realize where she was. Very awkward, but at least it wasn't a businessman.
After about an hour in the air, she had already moved her head to more of an upright position, resting it on the seat back, and then she woke-up. She spent the rest of the flight watching a movie on her iPad. When we landed in Baltimore, I said "Nice getting to know you." She gave me a very strange look and scurried off the plane.
