Get ready to remove at least one of those plastic cards from your key chain of wallet. Shaw's says they are dropping their rewards cards.

It seems like every place has a rewards card of some sort, but grocery stores have forced people into their card system in order to get the sale price. Well no more, says Shaw's. The Massachusetts supermarket chain says that everyone will be able to enjoy the savings, without the card.

While other local grocery stores like Stop & Shop continue to use these cards, other stores like Market Basket already offer low prices, and a card free system. Shaw's says they want to get rid of the card, and focus on lower prices all around, according to WBSM.
