The 'Walking With Jane' Campaign is hosting their Second Annual Meat Pie Dinner Benefit.

The dinner is being held in memory of Jane Dybowski and to benefit the NETwalkers Alliance Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk Team. All funds help support cancer patients and cancer research.

Jane was a well known teacher at the Westport High School who lost her life to neuroendocrine cancer on  December 10, 2010. She taught there for 30 years and was highly passionate towards her job... Jane was only 56.

In honor and memory of Jane, her Husband (also a teacher at WHS) Harry Proudfoot of 21 years, gave life to the non-profit organization as chairman of the board.

"Walking With Jane is dedicated to killing the cancer that took Jane Dybowski from us far too soon. Our goal is to provide one-stop access to the latest information about Neuroendocrine Cancer, Neuroendocrine Tumors and Carcinoid Syndrome research, treatment, and events in support of patients, caregivers, physicians, and research and charitable efforts." -Harry Proudfoot, Chairman

For the second year in a row, 'Walking With Jane' will be hosting the meat pie dinner on May 20th from 4-7 PM at the Westport American Legion Hall located at 489 Sanford Rd in Westport, MA.

Tickets for the event can be purchased for $10 each in which every last penny goes to find the answer to NET cancer. Harry can be contacted at 508-674-0279 to reserve tickets or a check can be made out to Walking With Jane, P.O. Box 9721, Fall River, MA 02720.
