Camping with kids can sometimes be tough if you're out in the woods and after 20 minutes, the kiddos are digging out the iPads and refusing to hang out in the woods. That's where Moose Hillock comes in. At just about 3 hours from the Southcoast, it's the perfect weekend or summer vacation getaway for the whole family. Moose Hillock has traditional campsites for tents or RV's, cabins and cabin suite rentals, seasonal rentals with TV hookups, bathrooms, and a WATER PARK. So there is literally no way that you'll hear anyone asking, "what do we do nowwwwwww???"
The water park at the White Mountains location is from Memorial Day through Labor Day and there's even a poolside cafe that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
You can get gas, ice, laundromat, stone fireplaces, firewood and even gifts, camping supplies, groceries at the store.
There's also a huge playground at Moose Hillock, a recreation center, and a lake for water activities.
