Rhode Island Diner Named Among Best New Restaurants in America

The first year for a new restaurant can be one of the toughest. But when you try something new and get recognized nationally for it, that certainly makes the tough times worth it.

This is exactly the kind of recognition one Rhode Island restaurant is getting from the foodie website, Eater.com.

Eater recently released their Best New Restaurants in America list for 2023 and Providence's There,There is on it.

If you never discovered There, There when they were a food truck you can now make the trip to W. Fountain Street in Providence for a sit down meal in their new brick and mortar diner.

There, There is known for their towering sandwiches and not-quite-smashburgers. They feature a fairly short regular menu, have new seasonal items and specialty items popping up all the time.

As Eater.com's Erika Adams described it, "It’s a carb-filled, comforting place to just chill out for a sec." All that comfort must be a big part of what landed There, There on the new list.

Chef and owner Brandon Teachout was clearly thrilled with the news of being dubbed one of best new restaurants in all of America and he took to his restaurant's socials to thank Eater.com, his staff and his diners for making it all possible.

A New York eatery and two Pennsylvania restaurants made Eater.com's list as well, but There, There was the only New England restaurant to make the cut.
