Red Sox Extend David Ortiz Contract

ESPN Boston is reporting that the Red Sox and David Ortiz have agreed to a one year extension of his contract.  This would keep Big Papi in a Red Sox uniform through the 2015 season.  The 38 year old will earn 15 million this season, and roughly 16 million next season.  Ortiz has won 3 World Series Championships with the Red Sox.  He hit .688 in the 2013 World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals.
