Have you always wanted to get up close with a shark? Looking for adventure this summer? A Cape Cod resort can help make that happen!

Martha's Vineyard was once home to Jaws, but even though the movie shark wasn't real plenty of the finned fish have been spotted off the coast of Cape Cod. And one resort is cashing in.

According to Forbes magazine, the 4-star Chatham Bars Inn is teaming up with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy this summer with new ways for guests to study these sharks.

The priciest of these excursions at $2500 per couple is the real-life "Research Trips," where guests can join scientists on a research vessel for an entire day. Once out on the water you can work with a plane spotter, the AWSC track team and photographs to try and find and tag a Great White.

These research trips only happen from August to October on Mondays and Thursdays, weather permitting of course.

A much more reasonable shark experience would be the "Receiver Excursions." Starting in July, these $50 trips take resort guests can explore the harbor with a shark researcher for an hour. The trip would bring shark fans to sandbars where grey seals gather looking for signs of predation. Plus you'll be able to pull up a shark tracker and see where tagged sharks might be in relation to your boat.

So this summer you could create your own shark week and head out to the Cape for some shark exploration with the pros!
