There's a craze sweeping the nation, and it's butter in your coffee!Apparently, replacing your usual cream and sugar with a specific kind of butter not only tastes amazing, but can be good for your health.

In an article on Foodbeast.com, it says that unsalted butter from grass-fed animals makes the difference, as opposed to the usual soy or corn-fed. Cows aren't meant to eat corn or soy, which provide a cheap way to fill their bellies. This causes them to produce milk with non-beneficial fats, instead of a good balance of omega-6 and omega-3 along with other vitamins found in grass-fed dairy products. Apparently, the most common brand of grass-fed butter is Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter.

The article also says to get the best results, you should also use high quality coffee beans along with medium chain triglyceride oil, or MCT oil. This new cup of joe is said to give you better energy without the crash, on top of better brain function, and even helps with burning fat!

It might take some getting used to, but I definitely think this butter-coffee trend is worth a try. With the potential benefits being so substantial, many celebrities are making the switch. You might start drinking your coffee this way and decide you love it too!
