Draven Rodriguez, the high schooler who wanted to hold his cat for his senior photo, has caused such controversy, that the principal of the school decided to join the student in a remake with her own pet.

After Draven Rodriguez created an online petition to allow him to pose with his cat, Mr.Bugglesworth, for his senior photo, the story went viral. The student of Schenectady High in New York was told he wasn't allowed to use the photo as his senior picture but still decided to take it anyway and start a petition. The picture created such a hit that the principle, Diana Wilkinson, decided to join the student with her own pet, a Chihuahua named Vivienne.

Though Rodriguez still can't use his cat photo for his senior pictures, this new photograph will get into the senior yearbook in order to raise awareness for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or ASPCA.

The photographer Vincent Giordano, whose photos you can check out here, said that Willkinson and Rodriguez were all laughs and had a great time taking the pictures.
