President Obama Wins

President Barack Obama has held on to win his re-election campaign. He has defeated former Massachusetts Republican Governor Mitt Romney, and will serve a second term as President of the United States. It was ultimately the critical state of Ohio that put Obama over the top just before 11:30pm on Election Night. Republicans were able to maintain control of the house, Democrats have maintained control of the Senate. Democrat Elizabeth Warren defeated Republican Scott Brown for the Massachusetts Senate seat.
