Multiple Stabbings And Shooting At The Silver City Galleria

**UPDATE 8:55PM**  WBZ-TV in Boston is reporting that at least two of the victims are dead.  The was also shot and killed by an off duty police officer.  WBZ is also reporting that witnesses say one of his victims was pregnant and stabbed in the abdomen.

**UPDATE 8:04PM Mass State Police say two of the victims were stabbed at a home on Myricks Street in Taunton before the incident at the mall.

Taunton police tell Fun 107 that they are investigating a shooting and a multiple stabbings at the Silver City Galleria.  Mass State Police say at least four people were stabbed in total (between the two scenes) and the attacker was shot by an off duty police officer.  The attacker reportedly drove a vehicle into the front of Macy's.  NBC 10 is reporting that witnesses saw a man stab a woman in Bertucci's.

State and local police have few details, but according to police and fire communications, there are multiple injuries with at least one patient being med flighted to a Boston hospital, another patient was transported directly to Charlton Memorial Hospital, and another to Morton Hospital.  Some of the injuries appear to be life threatening.

The mall was locked down for a period of time tonight, but police are now saying that the situation at the mall is "currently contained."
