The parents of a student at a Massachusetts private school have filed a lawsuit claiming that the school’s Wi-Fi made their 12 year-old-son sick.

According to The Herald News, the 12 year-old suffers from electromagnetic hypersensitivity syndrome, a condition that is aggravated by electromagnetic radiation. This condition causes headaches, nosebleeds, nausea, and other symptoms.

The family is asking that their son’s school, the Fay School in Southborough, Massachusetts, to switch to Ethernet cable Internet. Also, they want the school to turn down the Wi-Fi signal in the boy’s classroom.

The lawsuit is also seeking $250,000 in damages.

The school stated that its Wi-Fi signals were found in a recent investigation to be well below the levels required by federal safety standards.
