Old New Bedford Theatre Makes List Of 31 Most Haunting Abandoned Places

I stumbled across this list when I was reading some news after a terrible Patriots loss. I figured it was a timely story considering its almost halloween, and I love pictures of abandoned places.

I was amazed to find one of New Bedford's old landmarks on the the list.

Yup, that would be New Bedford's Orpheum theater. Opened in 1912, and closed in 1959.

Pretty impressive to make this list, since a lot of the other places are from much older places in Europe. It's pretty eye opening to see all the different places that we have constructed over the years, and no longer use.
