North End CVS Robbed At Gunpoint This Afternoon

A man went into the CVS at 139 Ashley Blvd this afternoon and robbed them at gunpoint.

The Standard Times is reporting that the suspect showed his gun and demanded money from the cashier with a note.

He then fled the store and was last seen running south.  No word as of right now on how much money he got away with.  Luckily, nobody was harmed.

He's being described as a white male with an average build and was wearing sunglasses.  The New Bedford Police are asking the public to contact them with any information regarding this robbery.
