There may be fresh snow on the ground, but that won't stop some Boston subway riders from leaving their pants at home.

The annual No Pants Subway Ride is this Sunday (January 8th) and this year it's coming to Boston.

The event started in New York City 15 years ago when a comedy group called Improv Everywhere staged the first one to make people laugh.

The comedic ride turned into an annual event and this year will involve thousands worldwide.

No Pants Subway Rides are being planned internationally with 50 cities in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Australia participating...including Boston.

Riders who want to go pantless with others in Boston can show up in Pemberton Square at 2 p.m.
