New Bedford’s Operation Clean Sweep Hits St. Luke’s Hospital

Fun 107 was on hand this morning as Operation Clean Sweep set up its headquarters at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford.

Nearly 75 volunteers of all ages showed up to help clean up the neighborhoods surrounding St. Luke's.  Operation Clean Sweep supplies volunteers with trash bags, brooms, gloves, and other cleaning supplies.

Breakfast was provided to all of the volunteers by the St. Luke's cafeteria.

The next Operation Clean Sweep will take place on August 20th.  Volunteers can pre-register at OperationCleanSweep.net.
