NEW BEDFORD (WBSM) — Two men were apparently shot in an incident in New Bedford’s West End on Wednesday night.

According to New Bedford Police, officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation on September 13 at about 11 p.m. in the area of Parker Street and County Street.

Police said that while officers were at the scene, two male victims arrived at St. Luke’s Hospital with gunshot wounds.

Detectives were called to investigate, but police said neither of the victims would cooperate with the investigation.

Police said one of the victims has since been treated and released from the hospital.
