A new report on Taser usage in Massachusetts was released and New Bedford has the top spot.

I'm not sure if it's a list you want to on the top of, but it seems a report from the Executive Office of Public Safety on Taser and stun gun incidents across the state has New Bedford as number one.

Police departments in Massachusetts have to keep track of the number of times Taser or stun guns are used (which by the way is defined as an officer issuing a warning, displaying the weapon or deploying the weapon) and in 2014, New Bedford officers had used them 105 times.
The report topping number is actually down from 2013 when they had 125 incidents, but it was still good enough to be the most in the state. The next highest city has just 57.
Now I don't know if coming in number one on this report is good or bad, but the Standard Times reported that New Bedford Police Chief David A. Provencher  felt that he was "comfortable that they are being used when appropriate."
Fall River ranked fourth on the list with 29 incidents and Wareham, Taunton and Holyoke tied for fifth with 27.
