There's a new app out there called "Cuddlr" and yes, it is exactly how it sounds.

The app is a cross between Grindr (I don't know what that is, but I can take an educated guess) and Tinder but unlike those apps, Cuddlr is all about cuddling. The app links you up with other locals in your area who just want to share a nice, platonic cuddle, either in a private or public setting.

Once you and the other party agree to cuddle, the app helps you find each other, and the rest is up to preference and communication.

Charlie Williams, creator of Cuddlr, stated that, "Cuddlr connects you with new people in your immediate area who are up for a cuddle. Once you and the other party agree to cuddle, the app helps you find each other, and the rest is up to preference and communication"

Kind of weird, right? I don't know about you guys but I find it kind of creepy!  Who knows what kind of person is behind that screen and what if you are just expecting a cuddle while the person you are linked up with expects more?

Williams goes on to say that as he got older, it became harder and harder to find someone who was just willing to snuggle together instead of focusing on a relationship.

There are even rules and regulations to using Cuddlr. For example, "Rules of the Road" is that you wait until the end of the cuddle before you ask them to further the relationship and be prepared to take either "yes" or "no". Keep your cuddle a cuddle, don't try to "change gears" midway through.

I'm still not on board with the app.  A cuddle sounds innocent enough I suppose...but if I want to cuddle, I'll curl up with my husband or my cats, or both!
