NBC ‘Today Show’ Doesn’t Air 9/11 Moment Of Silence During Memorial Coverage
In New York City and at the White House at 8:46 there was a moment of silence to remember when the first plane hit the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. In New York City, the NYPD, FDNY, Port Authority Police and the families of the victims were present, while the President and the First Lady led the moment from the White House.
Every network should have been carring this moment for the nation to see, heal and mourn. ABC’s “Good Morning America” and “CBS This Morning” carried it as well, But I was watching NBC - the only national morning news program to not carry the moment of silence. NBC’s ‘Today,” opted to air an interview with “Keeping Up With the Kardashians”, Kris Jenner who talked about the new season of the reality show, and her breast implants. Really? I couldn't believe it. I know a few who were outraged. What do you think?
