Mosquitoes with West Nile Virus have been found in New Bedford.  The Bristol County Mosquito Control Project plans to spray insecticide during the early morning hours on Tuesday.

Spraying will be done between 2 a.m. and sunrise in the areas of Fort Taber, Brooklawn Park, Buttonwood Park, Hazelwood Park, Riverside Park, and Poor Farm.   Monday night into Tuesday morning, the city advises you to stay indoors, bring pets inside, and keep windows closed.  The anti-mosquito spray dissipates within 30 minutes, so there is no need to bring children's toys or patio furniture indoors.
