For today's Morning Talker, we spoke with our friends at ABC 6 about a female student getting suspended for saying 'Bless You' to a fellow student.

A high school student in Tennessee was suspended after one of her classmates sneezed and she said out loud, 'bless you'. The teacher told her that that particular term is for church only. The student defended what she said but was still given an in house suspension.

Larry and I both agree that the entire situation is bit too ridiculous and that it was taken into much bigger proportions than it should have been. For most people, saying bless you when someone sneezes is more of a reflex than a religious phrase. Though the teacher has said that the student had disturbed the class for yelling out bless you, suspension, in my opinion, is way too harsh.
