More Road Closures Coming To Fall River In May

Say it isn't so!  More road closures and traffic delays in Fall River are coming our way in May.

WPRI reports that as soon as May 2nd the city can expect the following road closures;

The Exit 5 ramp of I-195 to Route 79/138.  Also, Central Street between Davol Street and Route 79 and Pond Street.

The Exit 5 ramp will be closed through September.  As for local access your best bet is using the Water Street connector from Route 79/138 to Ponta Delgada Boulevard and turn right for Water Street and Central Street.

The city said that the reconstructing of Central Street is expected to take about two weeks.
