9 Great White Sharks have been spotted since Sunday on the Cape's eastern edge. All you fishermen are going to need bigger boats!

According to Plymouth Patch, 9 great white's have been spotted from Eastham in the north down to Monomoy Island south of Chatham.

This summer has been a busy one for sharks on the Cape. Just last week, Truro beaches were closed off after 6 great white sharks were spotted feeding off a dead seal close to the shore. There have been more than a dozen shark sightings this year and a 6 year old boy even caught one (but decided to unhook the great white).

The sightings were recorded on a tracking app called Sharktivity developed by the nonprofit Atlantic White Shark Conservancy and state and local officials.
